This year I aspire to improve my skill and technique through practice, sketches, making mistakes, doodles, and more practice...and when I have a really good idea, to follow through with it until it's done. I want to key into my intuition to create art that connects with people emotionally, spiritually, and authentically. These drawings embody the reflections of a (pretty)happy, (relatively)healthy, (mostly) stable woman confronting her demons and deciding exactly who she is without the unbearable weight of self doubt, poverty, mental illness, or oppressive societal expectations.
