After a long journey, she rests her head

High above the earth on the crescent moon 

She is not weary from the journey, no, merely at ease...away from gravity, away from the noise of earthly violence,

Visible in moonlight, but out of reach.

Along the way she faltered and fluttered...

So determined, she fiercely ascended,

Envisioning the vast panorama 

Promised to strange idealists by vision, effort, inevitability!

And as she arrived, it washed over her...

She absorbed it...

The expanse and her place...

The silence and her voice were eternal...

She was just so overwhelmed by it all...

That she had to take a nap about it!
