Chaos and ennui often concur

Along with comedy and tragedy...

Time moves forward regardless of all that

History repeats, we know but we don't learn

And every day we choose the best fit mask

As we perform each menial duty

Sometimes comedy, sometimes tragedy, 

Mostly life is the same old shit again.

Empires rise and fall, so do the dishes...

A beautiful world will grow from the fall,

As quick as the numbers on my gas bill...

Soon we'll shed our masks for intimacy...

Outgrow the skin we're comfortable in...

And move forward, and circle back, and move forward... again and again and again...
